My Associate Certified Coach (ACC) credential journey

NeuroLeadership Institiute logo

At the end of September, I began my second program with the NeuroLeadership Institute, Brain-Based Coaching Toolkit. I took the first course in 2022 to strengthen my leadership and facilitator skill set. By completing this program, I will make progress towards obtaining for my Associate Certified Coach (ACC) credential. I'm excited to see what coaching can bring to my future.

One of my favorite parts of working in learning and development is the positive impact I make by supporting others to acheive thier goals. Coaching feels like another avenue to support people to achieve success (whatever that may look like to them).

Since part of this blog is to be vulnerable I do want to share an activity that is part of the class and seems scary to me. I am going to record a coaching session and my fellow classmates and course instructors will listen and provide feedback. Overall, I know that it will be great and I will get some productive feedback on things to continue and things to consider doing differently... but it is a little bit of a scary thought. When I have these types of thoughts, I like to remind myself that people like to see others succeed. My instructors and classmates want me to do well. Changing the narrative to that helps.

Work with me as your coach

Part of this journey is also me getting in some practical coaching time. So, if you have something you would like to work through in a coaching session with me, send me an email and let's set up some time. jen@thejenternet.com
