Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly post over at The Broke and the Bookish. They have a new list every week and this year I thought it would be fun to join in.
In case you’re unfamiliar, TBR means To Be Read. Let’s just say that I have a lengthy digital and physical TBR list. Here are some of the more recent additions to my TBR list. There aren’t ten, but hey at least I posted! 😉
The Chronicles of Narnia series by C.S. Lewis
At work we name our cubicle areas (yes, my team is fun and awesome!). Each group went with some sort of Disney inspired land or place. My area is called Narnia (one of my co-workers is a huge fan). I’m 90% sure I read The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe as a child, but I don’t remember it… so I’ve decided to read the whole series. I started the first book, The Magician’s Nephew on the plane to a work trip this past weekend. I’m hoping to finish it on the flight back (it’s short so it should be done barring any tiredness).
One True Loves by Taylor Jenkins Reid
In case you missed it, I wrote a post about my new love of Taylor Jenkins Reid last year. I’m insanely excited to read another book by her later this year. I’ve already pre-ordered it!
Bypass by Gayle Foreman
I love Gayle Forman’s writing. I still need to read I Was Here, but I’m really looking forward to her first adult novel.
Summer Days & Summer Nights: Twelve Love Stories edited by Stephanie Perkins
I absolutely loved the collections of holiday stories in My True Love Gave to Me written by various authors and edited by Stephanie Perkins so I’m really excited for this new collection. It’s also already pre-ordered.
Little House in the Big Woods by Laura Ingalls Wilder
I know I read most, if not all, of this series as a kid and loved it. I also loved the TV show… so I thought it would be fun to revisit.
Shopaholic to the Rescue by Sophie Kinsella
I love the Shopaholic series and was excited last year when I found out there was a new book… I finished that recently and found out there was another new one! Can’t wait to complete the story from the last book.
