friday five what i've like this week

My awesome friend Chris has this Friday Five regular post on her blog, What I Run Into. I liked the idea of sharing the things I’ve liked over the week.

1. Schitt’s Creek

I first heard about Schitt’s Creek when Eugene Levy and Catherine O’Hara were on Watch What Happens Live to promote it. I love them so I knew I would like the show, but it was on some channel I don’t think I have. It’s on Amazon Prime now and I binged the whole first season last weekend. IT’S. SO. GOOD. You should binge it too. Season 2 starts January 12.

2. Making A Murderer

I’m finally getting into this show. If you live under a rock, it’s a Netflix original documentary follows the trial of Steven Avery who had previously served 18 in prison for a crime he didn’t commit. It’s so gripping and frustrating. I can only take a couple of episodes at a time… so hopefully I’ll make my way through it soon.

3. My Cricut

I’m getting back into my planner mojo and I, metaphorically, dusted off the ol’ Cricut and started making stickers for my new blog planner.

4. Disc Notebooks and Planners

Piggybacking off the last one, I’m IN LOVE with disc bound planners and notebooks right now. I’ve seen them around for awhile, but I finally go one (or two… or three). It’s so great because you can move paper round easily, which is something I love. I started with the ARC notebooks from Staples and a Happy Planner fromĀ Me and My Big Ideas (MAMBI). I’ll do a more detailed post about this soon.

5. Yorba Linda Public Library

As you know, I LOVE libraries. I recently went to the Yorba Linda Public Library and it’s fantastic. So many events that look like they’ll be fun to go to a great selection of titles that fit my interests. I’m also going to do a more detailed post on this library and other local ones I love.

What did you love this week? Let me know in the comments.
